The AcuteCare InnovationHub is an interdisciplinary research unit at the Department of Anaesthesiology at RWTH Aachen University Hospital. Its goal is to quickly translate innovative technologies into medical practice, particularly in the field of pre-hospital emergency care. The hub focuses on telemedicine, eHealth/mHealth, smart sensor technology, innovative monitoring and the integration of artificial intelligence. Current projects include research into UAV-based transport solutions for medical logistics and mobile telemedicine examination stations for use in crisis areas.

Through close cooperation between research, industry partners and medical applications, RWTH Aachen University Hospital provides practical impetus for the development of future solutions in disaster control.
