Auxsys GmbH is an innovative start-up based in Aachen that specialises in the development and marketing of active exoskeletons for professional use. The systems are used in emergency services, firefighting, CBRN protection and explosive ordnance disposal, among other areas. The exoskeletons are designed so that they can be worn under protective clothing while still offering high mobility and comfort.

They're super light thanks to their titanium frame, have a powerful motor, and can run for over eight hours on one battery charge, making them perfect for dynamic and physically demanding jobs. They're designed to meet the ISO 13482 safety standards for robotic assistance systems. Auxsys is bringing this expertise to KATPRO to help reduce the physical strain on emergency forces and make them more effective in extreme conditions.
