Workers' Samaritan Federation of North Rhine-Westphalia

The Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is one of the largest aid and welfare organisations in Germany. With a nationwide network of full-time and volunteer staff, the ASB has been providing assistance to people in need for over 130 years – from rescue services and disaster control to social services. In KATPRO, the ASB contributes its extensive experience in civil protection, emergency medical care and the organisation of large-scale events. As an active practical partner, the association supports the development, testing and evaluation of technical innovations for use in real-life conditions.
