German Red Cross Association – General Secretariat

The association is Germany's largest humanitarian aid organisation and, as an auxiliary to the authorities, plays a central role in civil protection. In addition to its function as the umbrella organisation for independent welfare services, the DRK is a key player in the country's medico-social infrastructure. The ‘Security Research and Innovation Transfer’ team at the DRK's General Secretariat acts as a think tank and facilitates access to relevant target groups for research and data collection throughout Germany.
