Docs in Clouds Telecare GmbH

The innovative idea of providing telemedical support to emergency services led to the founding of the Docs in Clouds group of companies in 2013 as a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University Hospital. Ten years after its founding, the group, which is considered a pioneer in the field of telemedicine, focuses primarily on the development of telemedical solutions in healthcare, in addition to medical engineering services and consulting. To this end, an interdisciplinary team of engineers, computer scientists and doctors works in a patient-centred manner and uses the latest technology. The focus of telemedicine developments is on the securely encrypted and individually accessible ‘MedCast’ cloud, which is used to automatically measure vital parameters and transfer documents remotely in real time. The teleconsultations made possible in this way improve the strained medical care situation, especially in rural areas, in the long term and have been proven to lead to more efficient resource management. The Docs in Clouds Group has already demonstrated this in numerous projects!
