The University Hospital of Tübingen (UKT) is one of the leading centres of German university medicine. With 17 university hospitals, numerous institutes and specialised centres, it combines cutting-edge medicine, research and teaching at the highest level. The UKT is actively involved in developing innovative care concepts in the fields of emergency and disaster medicine. For example, it cooperates with partners such as TriCAT in the implementation of virtual medical case scenarios for training and further education in emergency medicine and disaster relief. In addition, the hospital participates in interdisciplinary research projects aimed at improving care for vulnerable groups in crisis situations.
