Die THWS engagiert sich \u00fcber das Institut Rettungswesen, Notfall- und Katastrophenmanagement (IREM)<\/em> intensiv in der praxisorientierten Forschung rund um Bev\u00f6lkerungsschutz, Katastrophenhilfe und Resilienzf\u00f6rderung. Im Fokus steht die Entwicklung innovativer L\u00f6sungen zur Pr\u00e4vention, Bew\u00e4ltigung und Nachbereitung von Notlagen. Durch die enge Verzahnung mit Einsatzorganisationen sowie durch die regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Begleitung von Gro\u00df\u00fcbungen in Bayern tr\u00e4gt das Institut dazu bei, wissenschaftlich fundierte, anwendungsnahe Konzepte in den realen Einsatz zu \u00fcberf\u00fchren. Aktuelle Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen u.\u202fa. in der digitalen Patienten- und Lagesimulation, der Entwicklung robotischer Assistenzsysteme sowie der integrativen Einsatzplanung im Katastrophenfall.<\/p>\n
